Phase 1 consisted of structural modifications as required and encapsulation of existing H-pile foundations from waterline to pile cap, supporting eight (8) lattice tower structures in water with depths ranging from 13 feet to 40 feet.
Phase 2 consisted of structural modifications as required and encapsulation of existing H-pile foundations from waterline to pile cap, supporting nine (9) lattice tower structures in water with depths ranging from 4 feet to 16 feet.
The project was located on the James River just west of Newport News, Virginia. The towers are parallel to and adjacent to the James River Bridge (US Route 17 and Route 258).
