Precon Marine partnered with Metro Marine Fiber to install 2 each fiber optic cables across Hampton Roads Harbor. Precon installed the 2 fiber cables using a cable trenching sled capable of plowing the cable 10 feet below the seabed. The land portion of work was completed by directional drilling 3 inch conduit 1500 feet offshore on both sides of the Norfolk Harbor.
