SHORELINE PROTECTION & MARINE CONSTRUCTION
Precon Marine was awarded the contract for the lateral expansion of the Paul S. Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project in Poplar Island, Talbot County, Maryland.
Precon Marine completed work on the lateral component of this massive project, which included the stockpiling of sand and approximately 165,000 tons of stone, dike construction for wetland cell, Cell 7, removal of 81,000 cy of unsuitable foundation material, and approximately 280,000 cy of dredging at the access channel and turning basin at the north end of the project.
