CBB CATHODIC PROTECTION
Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, VA
This project consisted of encapsulating 200+each 64” cylinder piles with cathodic protection jackets. Life jackets were installed along with all of the wiring and zinc anodes to protect the piles for the next 50 years. Project also consisted of installing above-water and underwater carbon fiber wraps and performing crack injection/concrete spall repair.
