Installation of 2 range lights and demolition of 1 range light tower. Each new tower consisted of the installation of 1 each 18” diameter plumb pile and 3 each 12” diameter batter piles. The piles were installed using a permanent steel template. The piles were approximately 60’ long and the water depths ranged from 15-20 feet at the project site. Our scope consisted of blasting and coating the towers with a 3-layer epoxy paint system and the installation of platforms and towers over the piles. Precon performed this work using a 135’ x 55’ barge and a 200 ton crane.
