Installation of 2 range lights and demolition of 1 range light tower. Each new tower consisted of the installation of 1 each 18” diameter plumb pile and 3 each 12” diameter batter piles. The piles were installed using a permanent steel template. The piles were approximately 60’ long, and the water depths ranged from 15 to 20 feet at the project site. Our scope consisted of blasting and coating the towers with a 3-layer epoxy paint system and the installation of platforms and towers over the piles. Precon performed this work using a 135’ x 55’ barge and a 200-ton crane.
