PCCI awarded Precon Marine the contract for the magnetic silencing facility upgrades in Norfolk, VA. The project consisted of deconstructing the existing underwater range and constructing a new one in its place. Contract also included hardening the system by installing all of the fiber optic cables in a duct bank consisting of 42 each 3” HDPE pipes. The entire duct bank was approximately 4500 feet long. The new range consisted of 13 EMTs and several MT sensors.
